We would be remiss if we didn’t mention Mr. West’s (it’s not a) video (it’s a moving painting!) for Power made in collaboration with video artist Marco Brambilla. We’ve read the artist staement, we know the list of inspirations, we’ve heard the ‘summary’, we completely get it. But isn’t it a little… short? Don’t get us wrong, it’s very pretty and when we first heard that the video portrait would involve Mr. Brambilla of Standard Hotel elevator fame, we were dubious. They definitely proved us wrong, visually the video portrait is stunning, but at just over a minute it’s just not enough. But by all means, see for yourself:

This is Zach Golden and calm down. His weapon of choice is words not knives and he wields them well. Zach “loves sandwiches and pork. He is very handsome and modest, and his breath smells good.” He is also a copywriter from New York who’s portfolio is both informative and hilarious. But the piece de resistance is his what the f*ck should I make for dinner page has made the whole dinner process infinitely easier for us. We are notorious for our indecision and his f*cking take no f*cking prisoners approach to dinner is just what we needed. F*cking check it out!

ok kids, remember a little while back when we got all kinds of obsessed with Ms. Monae‘s video for tightrope and through that we discovered the amazing (evidence above, especially @ about 1:30) Ms. Yates? Well it’s turns out GIRL’S BOUT TO BE ON TV! Apparently she will be on So You Think You Can Dance next Wed. (4th) so you should probably check her out. But only if you want you your mind blown. You know, if thats your thing.
